The nasopharynx is the upper part of the throat (pharynx) that lies behind the nose. The nasopharynx cancer or nasopharyngeal carcinoma (NPC) results from abnormal growth of cells in the nasopharynx. It is one of the rare cancer forms globally, ranking as the 27th most frequently diagnosed cancer globally in 2015. The market is expected to show a lucrative market growth rate.
